Lawn Mower Blade Sharpening
There is a distinct difference in how a lawn looks when cut with a sharp lawnmower blade and how it looks when it is shredded by a dull lawnmower blade and a big difference in the heath of the lawn too.
A blunt lawn mower blade rips the grass blades, leaving ragged tears that both weaken the plant and promote fungal growth and other grass diseases.
A sharp blade, on the other hand, cuts cleanly, allowing the plant to heal and recover quickly.
I can sharpen lawn mower blades on a rotary mower (blade underneath) or a cylinder mower (blade at the front). You can either bring them to me attached to the mower or take them off yourself.
Rotray Mower Prices are £5.00 blade off the mower or £10.00 blade on the mower
cylinder mowers are £15.00.
Martin sharpened my hand push cylinder mower today. It’s absolutely brilliant cutting the grass. I’m so pleased. He’s a charming chap, very polite, and does an excellent job. I will use him again and again. Thanks Martin.
